Getting Here
Wind River Cellars is located just 60 miles from Portland, Oregon, in the scenic Columbia River Gorge in the charming town of Husum, Washington. Husum offers year round recreational activities and is the gateway to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
A two mile climb up Spring Creek road makes most first time visitors think that they are lost, but upon entering the front gate they are greeted by one of the most spectacular sights anywhere, of Oregon’s Mt. Hood.

Driving Directions
Begin with your starting point directions and continue with ‘from the Hood River Bridge’.
STARTING POINT: Portland/ Vancouver
- Take I-84 east to Exit 64, OR-35/ White Salmon/Gov’t. Camp. Turn left at the stop sign
- Cross the Hood River Bridge (toll, 75 cents)
STARTING POINT: Pendleton/ Walla Walla/ Tri-Cities
- Take I-84 west to Exit 64, OR-35/ White Salmon/Gov’t. Camp. Turn right at the stop sign
- Cross the Hood River Bridge (toll, 75 cents)
FROM THE HOOD RIVER BRIDGE:
- Turn left onto Hwy 14
- Turn right onto Hwy ALT 141
- This is a windy road along the White Salmon River that goes up
- Turn left onto Hwy 141
- Once through Husum, look for the “Winery” signs and take a left onto Spring Creek Road
- Follow Spring Creek Road, staying right at the Y and all the way up the gravel road to a driveway on the left that is a tad bumpy, and creeps up a bit farther. That’s us!
